Today I popped my head into the Radiomade studios in Dublin to meet Mark and Annie of Trivial Cahoots and chat about, well, all sorts of things really: WWI, porn names, mind-game playing Jack Russells ... the usual lunchtime chit chat. We played some Trivial Pursuit - which explains the podcast name - and I got to plug some of the stuff I've been up to lately; like the piece I wrote for Dublin2020, Dublin in Bloom; my voiceover stuff and The Complete Speech Writer. It was fun, and weird, and Mark and Annie, despite having only met them both minutes before we started live recording, were great. Annie, especially, has great taste in runners (ok, sneakers) and vegetables - both raw and cooked! What a gal. Mark likes to fuck people with his comedy. (I'll leave you to figure that out for yourself). You can listen to our rambling discussion and haphazard board-game playing here.
