I recently realised that I've stuck it out as a voiceover ten years this summer. My first gig fresh out of drama school in 2006 was a "vox pop" job for Easons that we recorded in the garden of the old Moynihan Russell studios, back when it was still on Herbert Street, and back when the Mutiny lads (Mark and Paul) were engineers-in-residence. Since then, MoyRuss have moved, Mark and Paul have set up their own sound shops and I've gotten out of that garden and into the studio proper and fancy. I'm working on a fresh, up-to-date, 10 year anniversary demo, and a bit of a retrospective newsletter/post that I'm going to spread all over social media like butter to celebrate the years of voicing adventures (so far). I know, I cannae wait either. In the meantime, here is one of those fancy ads I recorded in the last few months for your viewing and listening pleasure. If you like it, leave a comment below and find out about all the other voice work I do here. Cow & Gate 'Your Love, Our Experience', by Boys and Girls advertising agency. Recorded in Raygun Studio, Dublin, and voiced by me.
