You might have seen me talking a bit about a show called The Speech.
It aired last week on RTE, and features a woman called Joan who is terrified of public speaking, even though she's great at talking in day-to-day life. Sound familiar? Sometimes even the most seemingly confident of us go to jelly when we get on stage.

She is put through a series of tasks - some are hilarious (selling bananas on Moore street!) and some are seriously tough, rabbit-in-headlights style. With great spirit she tackles them all and ... well, you'll have to watch to find out.

Her mentor is TV presenter Kathryn Thomas, and you'll see me passing on some of my voice over and performance skills to her, too. It was great fun working on this project, and Joan and I still work together today.
